What this Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and disclose information about users who interact with us including (but not limited to) via our websites and Mobile Apps. This policy only applies to those online services that link to this policy. We are strongly committed to your right to privacy and to providing a safe, enjoyable and personalized service to you. We reserve the right to modify or amend this Policy at any time and will display the effective date at the end of this statement. By submitting your personal information to us, you are deemed to have read and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy.

This policy does not cover any third party websites, including any third party website that may, from time to time, be linked to this website. We do not monitor or make any representation with respect to the practices of these third party websites. If you have any questions regarding the information collections of these websites, you should consult the privacy policies contained on those websites.

This Privacy Policy serves as a notice pursuant to the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

Type of Information We Collect

There are two main types of information we collect about users of our online services:

  • Personal Information which includes (but are not limited to), for example, your name, date of birth, gender, personal identification numbers or passport, home address, telephone number, email address, payment information (including your credit or debit card: name of cardholder, card number and expiry date); and
  • Technical Information such as information about your Internet connection, your Internet protocol or IP address, the equipment you use to access our online services, and information relating to your usage of those services.

You are responsible for ensuring that the Personal Information you provide us is accurate, complete and not misleading and that such Personal Information is kept up to date.

How We Collect Your Information

The techniques we utilise to collect information about you are as follows:

You have the right at any time to request us to stop sending you marketing and promotional materials by clicking the 'Unsubscribe' link in the relevant email.

Acknowledgement and Consent

By communicating with Albatrozz Sdn Bhd using Albatrozz Sdn Bhd services, or by virtue of your engagement with Albatrozz Sdn Bhd, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree and consent to the use, processing and transfer of your Personal Data by Albatrozz Sdn Bhd as described in this Privacy Policy. The collection of your personal data by us may be mandatory or voluntary in nature depending on the Purposes for which your personal data is collected. Where it is mandatory for you to provide us with your personal data, and you fail or choose not to provide us with such data, or do not consent to the above or this Privacy Policy, we will not be able to provide our Platform and/or Service to you.

Transfer of Information Overseas

Our information technology storage facilities and servers may be located in other countries outside of your country. This may include, but not limited to, instances where your personal data may be stored on servers located outside of your country. In addition, your personal data may be disclosed or transferred to entities located outside your country. Please note that these foreign entities may be established in countries that might not offer a level of data protection equivalent to that offered in your country under applicable laws. Retention

We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Please note that your failure to maintain accurate, complete and up-to-date personal data may result in your inability to access and use the Platform and/or Service.

In respect of children (individuals under the age of 18 or under the age of majority in your country) or individuals not legally competent to give consent, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian with parental responsibility over them, or the person appointed by a court to manage their affairs, and that you consent on their behalf to the processing of their personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Your Rights

To the extent that the prevailing personal data protection and privacy laws of the countries we operate in allow, you have the right to request access to, request a copy of, and request to update or correct your personal data held by us. We may charge a small fee (as permitted under applicable law) to cover the administration costs involved in processing your request to access your personal data.

In addition, you have the right, by notice in writing, to inform us of your withdrawal (in full or in part) of your consent previously given to us, subject to any applicable legal restrictions, contractual conditions and a reasonable duration of time for the withdrawal to be effected. However, your withdrawal of consent could result in certain legal consequences — depending on the extent of your withdrawal, it may mean that we are unable to continue your existing relationship with us or that any contract you have with us will need to be terminated.

You may correct, update or delete your personal data at any time by editing your profile on the 'Account Settings' page on the Platform. Note that your personal data may be retained on our back-up systems for some time, and that information associated with past transactions cannot be deleted as we maintain records of these.

Internet and Mobile Application Use

You acknowledge that the provision of your personal data to us over the Internet is entirely at your own risk.

We use cookies (alphanumeric identifiers transferred to your computer's or mobile device's hard drive so that we can recognise your web browser or mobile device, track your visits to the Platform or remember your username and/or password each time you log in) to monitor your use of the Platform. All demographic data collected through cookies is non-personal and we may use this data in aggregated, statistical and/or anonymised form. You may disable cookies by changing the settings on your web browser or mobile device, although this may mean that certain features on the Platform will not function properly.

If any part of the Platform links you to other websites, those websites do not operate under this Privacy Policy and we do not accept any responsibility or liability arising from those websites. Updates to the Privacy Policy

We may amend this Privacy Policy if and when business or legal requirements change. The updated versions will always be posted on our website with a date stamp, so that you are aware of when the last update was made. Subject to applicable laws, the prevailing language of the Privacy Policy will be English. In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and any translated version, the English version will prevail.
